Overview

Curt's practice focuses on all aspects commercial litigation, with a special emphasis on construction disputes and real estate related litigation. His experience includes:

  • Representing companies such as Lennar Corporation, the second largest residential homebuilder in the United States. This representation involves defending construction defect suits and Deceptive Trade Practices Act (DTPA) actions as well as breach of contact, misrepresentation, fraud and eminent domain suits.
  • Representing companies in actions involving covenants not to compete and trade secret misappropriation.
  • Representing clients in claims for common law fraud, violations of the DTPA and breach of contract actions.
  • Advising and representing clients in commercial leasehold disputes.

While in law school, Curt interned for the Honorable Xavier Rodriguez, United States District Judge for the Western District of Texas. He also interned at the United States Attorney's Office for the Western District of Texas, Civil Division.
