Overview
David practices general commercial litigation with an emphasis on construction disputes, employment law, and real estate related litigation. His experience includes:
- Representing residential builders and home warranty companies such as Lennar Corporation, the second largest residential homebuilder in the United States. This representation involves defending construction defect suits and Deceptive Trade Practices Act (DTPA) actions as well as breach of contact, misrepresentation, and fraud suits.
- Representing clients in state and federal courts in employment related disputes, including suits involving Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
- Representing regional and national banks on various matters including breach of contract and note default cases, sequestrations, and recovery of foreclosure deficiencies.
- Advising and representing clients in commercial leasehold disputes.
Prior to becoming an attorney, David spent six years as an executive officer and principal of a multi-state regional automotive lubricants distribution company.
