Overview
Devon serves as the Associate Liaison to the Management Committee. Her practice focuses on all aspects of commercial litigation, with an emphasis in employment law. Her experience includes:
- Representation of clients in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies in disputes involving a variety of employment laws and regulations, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and Texas Payday Act.
- Representation of clients in lawsuits involving covenants not to compete and trade secret misappropriation.
- Development of employee handbooks and policies.
- Advising and training clients on human resources related issues, including compliance with state and federal employment laws and regulations.
- Representation of clients in a broad range of commercial disputes and general contract litigation.
