Devon is a member of the Litigation section and the Labor & Employment special industry group in the Dallas office of Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr, PC. Her practice focuses on all aspects of commercial litigation, with an emphasis in employment law.
Devon represents clients in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies in disputes involving a variety of employment laws and regulations, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Texas Payday Act, Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act (WARN), and Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA).
Additionally, Devon regularly counsels employers and executives on non-compete agreements, protection of confidential information and trade secrets, development of employee handbooks and policies, and general compliance with state and federal employment laws and regulations.
Devon also represents companies and individuals in a broad range of commercial disputes, general contract litigation, insurance coverage litigation and franchise litigation.
Devon is active in Attorneys Serving the Community (ASC), a volunteer organization made up of female lawyers, judges, and law students from across DFW. ASC's mission is to support local nonprofit organizations whose programs benefit women, children, and families. Additionally, from 2011 to 2013, Devon served as Associate Liaison to the Munsch Hardt Management Committee, an elected position.
