Glenn is a Shareholder in the firm’s Real Estate group, where he practices out of the Houston office.  Glenn represents clients in a wide range of commercial real estate and finance matters.    In particular, he regularly advises pension funds, Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), lending institutions and investors in connection with the acquisition, financing, leasing and disposition of office buildings, retail centers, multifamily developments, industrial facilities, vacant land and other commercial projects in cities across the country.

Glenn's representative transactions include:

  • Representation of developer in land assembly for residential and commercial development project in Houston, Texas and related financing.
  • Representation of pension fund in various single-asset and portfolio acquisition and disposition transactions involving office, retail, multifamily and industrial properties in California, Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, Maryland, Massachusetts, Oregon, Texas and Washington.
  • Representation of joint venture between two real estate investment firms in the acquisition, financing and leasing of an office building in the Houston Energy Corridor.
  • Representation of pension fund in connection with various financings of properties in Houston, Texas and surrounding areas, including class 'A' office buildings in the Houston Central Business District, the Greenway Plaza area and the Galleria area.
  • Representation of regional lenders in construction and development financing of multifamily apartment projects and residential subdivisions in Houston, Texas and surrounding areas.
  • Representation of drilling company in connection with a multiple-draw term loan facility secured by substantially all the companys assets.
  • Representation of publicly-traded REIT in the disposition of retail shopping centers in Colorado, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina and Texas.
  • Representation of transportation company in connection with a $75 million term equipment loan secured by maritime assets, together with subsequent loan increases, amendments and collateral substitutions.
  • Representation of corporate borrower in connection with a $75 million asset-based credit facility, together with subsequent loan amendments and pledges of additional collateral.
