Overview
Lea practices in state and federal courts throughout Texas in a variety of areas and industries focusing on commercial disputes in the oil and gas, lending, construction, manufacturing and transportation industries. She also has unique experience handling the enforcement of arbitration provisions, officer and director litigation, trademark disputes and compliance with state and federal privacy laws. Her experience includes:
- Representation of oil and gas companies in trial court and arbitrations related to enforcement of various industry agreements from exploration to production and transportation to leasing.
- Representation of working interest owners and landowners in disputes with operators and subcontractors.
- Representation of gas wholesalers and retailers in contract, trademark and commercial litigation matters.
- Representation of various clients in connection with extraordinary remedies including temporary restraining orders, receiverships, sequestrations and garnishments.
