Overview

Paul is a business attorney with experience in lending, structured finance, public and private bond financings, corporate workouts, complex commercial transactions, banking transactions, debt restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, bankruptcy, asset-based finance, leveraged buyouts and syndicated loan transactions. A significant portion of his practice has been devoted to workouts and originations in energy sector financings including electric power generation. He has extensive experience in public and private bond financings and has recently served as purchasers' counsel in connection with the issuance of several series of gas revenue bonds, which transactions have represented over one-third of the total prepaid gas transactions closed since 2003. Paul also served as counsel to an ad hoc committee of bondholders in the Lehman Brothers bankruptcy.
