Overview
Sarah focuses her practice on construction law and complex civil litigation, where she serves as counsel for such companies as Lennar Corporation, the second largest residential homebuilder in the United States. Her representation involves the defense of suits involving alleged construction defects, violations of the Deceptive Trade Practices Act (DTPA), breach of contact, misrepresentation, fraud and eminent domain. She has also represented Lennar Corporation and specialty subcontractors, general contractors and other companies of all sizes in transactional matters including contract drafting and negotiation, land use, tax, Home Owner Association matters, leases and general advice and counsel. Sarah has experience in the areas of internal investigations for corporations and governmental entities and in federally appointed receiverships.
