Munsch Hardt Adds New Associate in Austin Office

Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr, P.C., a Texas-based commercial law firm with offices in Dallas, Houston and Austin, today announced that Andy S. Brown has joined the firm’s Litigation practice group as an Associate.

Andy’s practice focuses on commercial litigation with experience in construction litigation, trade secrets, trademark infringement, employment, breach of contract and business disparagement. His practice involves disputes surrounding the Texas Public Information Act and the United States Freedom of Information Act. Proficient in Spanish, Andy’s practice also involves international litigation and arbitration. Andy has been responsible for conducting discovery and service of process under the Hague convention.

Prior to joining Munsch Hardt, Andy worked for an international law firm out of their Austin office, clerked for Judge Randy Crane of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas and was a judicial intern for Judge Gabriel Cavallo, a Federal Judge of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Andy obtained his Juris Doctor from The University of Texas School of Law, where he was the Submissions Editor of the Texas International Law Journal. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Colorado College. He is a member of the Austin Bar Association; Austin Young Lawyers Association; Capital Area AIDS Legal Project, where he serves as an Advisory Board Member; East Community Connection, where he serves as an Advisory Board Member; Hispanic Bar Association of Austin; Travis County Democratic Primary, where he serves as Chair and State Bar of Texas. He is also admitted to the United States District Courts for the Southern and Western Districts of Texas.
