Munsch Hardt Adds Two New Attorneys to Austin Office

Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr, P.C., a Texas based law firm with over 100 attorneys and offices in Dallas, Houston and Austin, Texas announced two new attorneys will join their Austin office. Patty Tomasco, a Shareholder, and Vanessa E. Gonzalez, an Associate, will both be in the Insolvency, Restructuring & Creditors’ Rights group.
Patty Tomasco
Patty's practice consists of corporate reorganization and bankruptcy, where she specializes in workouts, reorganizations, distressed acquisitions, and debtor and creditor representation in Chapter 7 and 11 cases. She received her Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law and her Bachelor of Arts in Business, Political Science and Sociology from Rice University. Patty is a member of the American Bar Association, including the Litigation section; Austin Bar Association, including the Bankruptcy section, where she served as former Secretary and member of the Council; Austin Lyric Opera, where she served as a trustee; Meals on Wheels Association of America, where she serves as a volunteer; State Bar of Texas, where she served as a former Women in the Profession Committee member and Texas Board of Legal Specialization, Exam Commission for Bankruptcy Law. She is admitted to New York; Texas; United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit; United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan; United States District Courts for the Eastern, Northern, Southern and Western Districts of Texas; United States District Courts of Arizona and United States Supreme Court. Patty has also been named among the "Super Lawyers" by Key Professional Media, Inc. from 2005 through 2008 and was listed as a "Best of Business Attorney in Bankruptcy Law" by the Austin Business Journal in 2005.
Vanessa E. Gonzalez
Vanessa concentrates her practice on bankruptcy, reorganization and creditors' rights as well as corporate finance and commercial litigation. Prior to joining Munsch Hardt, she worked at a large Austin, Texas based firm and clerked for Deborah B. Langehenning, Chapter 13 trustee. Vanessa received her Juris Doctor from The University of Texas School of Law, where she received the Duberstein National Bankruptcy Moot Court Team Award, and her Bachelor of Arts, graduating magna cum laude, from Texas State University. She is a member of the Austin Bar Association and State Bar of Texas.
