  • Representation of the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors of Home Interiors & Gifts, Inc. Home Interiors & Gifts, Inc. was founded in 1957 and was one of the largest distributors of art and decorating products in North America. It filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in Dallas, Texas in 2008 and following Munsch Hardt's representation of the creditors' committee, Munsch Hardt subsequently became counsel for the creditor trust trustee.
  • Representation of the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors of Heartland Automotive, Inc. and its affiliated debtors, filed in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas, Fort Worth Division. The debtors, headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska, are the largest franchisees of Jiffy Lube stores in the United States.
  • Representation of the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors of Kitty Hawk, Inc. and its affiliated debtors, filed in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas, Fort Worth Division. Prior to filing, the debtors were a publicly traded operator of a ground and air cargo network between selected cities in North America including the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, Canada and Puerto Rico.
  • Representation of the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors of GNI Group, Inc. and its subsidiaries, filed in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas, Houston Division. The debtors were a large chemical and waste disposal business based in Houston.

EqualNet Communications Corp. was a publicly traded telecommunications service provider.

The debtor was a publicly traded computer components distribution company with annual sales in excess of $250 million in prior years.

Although all corporate Color Tile, Inc. stores closed in late 1997, through the efforts of the committee and Munsch Hardt, most of the independently owned and operated franchised stores remained in operation using the Color Tile, Inc. trade name and trademarks.
