  • Representation of Chapter 11 trustee Daniel J. Sherman of Ondova Limited Company. Ondova Limited Company was one of the largest owners of Internet domain names in the world and Munsch Hardt has represented the Chapter 11 trustee in the administration and liquidation of Ondova Limited Company.
  • Representation, as special counsel, of a Chapter 7 trustee of VarTec Telecom, Inc. and its affiliated debtors in proceedings against certain former directors and officers of the debtors to recover damages caused by the breaches of their fiduciary duties and other wrongful conduct.
  • Representation of ORIX Capital Markets, L.L.C., as special servicer, of a trust for the certificate holders and in the name of the trustee of the trust, in the jointly administered bankruptcy cases of Cyrus II Partnership, et al. pending in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, Houston Division. The trust is the largest creditor of the estate. Pursuant to a settlement agreement with the bankruptcy trustee, ORIX Capital Markets, L.L.C. is co-prosecuting litigation with the bankruptcy trustee on behalf of the estate against numerous domestic and foreign individuals and entities asserting claims which include avoidance of fraudulent transfers, alter ego, single business enterprise, breach of fiduciary duty, aiding and abetting breach of fiduciary duty, civil conspiracy and piercing the corporate veil.
