The Munsch Hardt Hospitality & Resort Projects group has a dedicated team that represents some of the largest owners, investors, developers and managers of high visibility, nationally recognized hotels, resorts and other hospitality projects. We handle a variety of legal matters for such hospitality and resort clients including acquisitions and dispositions, development and construction, leasing, lending and finance, partnerships and joint ventures, management agreements, franchise agreements, land use and entitlements, environmental and insurance. We have worked on these hotels and resorts from coast to coast and in Mexico, South America and the Caribbean. A substantial portion of our work on clients' hotel projects occurs as part of our involvement in larger mixed-use projects. Our attorneys work in tandem with our developer clients on such projects from concept to completion, attending to all of the details such as land acquisition, joint development agreements with co-developers, management and franchise agreements with brands, loan and equity negotiations, construction contracts, and leasing of retail and specialty areas to include spas, restaurants, bars and nightclubs. Our group regularly represents national brands in the negotiation of management contracts for hotel and resort properties and we have assisted hotel investors in acquiring large portfolios of hotel assets.
