Five Munsch Hardt Attorneys Achieve "Texas Rising Star" Honors

Nine attorneys at Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr, P.C., a Texas-based law firm with offices in Dallas, Houston and Austin, have been named to the 2005 list of Texas Rising Stars. Zahara Alarakhia, Phil Appenzeller, Jim Baudino, Gina Culpepper, Scott Hogan, Lee Morris, Greg Noschese, Ross Parker and Dennis Roossien are among those honored.

The honorees are nominated by those attorneys on the 2004 Super Lawyers list. Attorneys who are 40 years of age or younger, or who have been in practice ten years or less may be nominated to be recognized as “2005 Texas Rising Stars.”

Phil Appenzeller is a Shareholder in the Litigation/Dispute Resolution practice group at Munsch Hardt. Phil joined the Firm in 2000 after serving three years in the Judge Advocate General Corp. and more recently, three years at McKool Smith in Dallas. His practice focuses on technology, securities, officer and director liability, professional negligence, manufacturing and financial industries.

Lee Morris is a shareholder in Munsch Hardt’s Bankruptcy section. His practice focuses on all areas of business reorganization and related commercial litigation, including the representation of debtors in workouts and reorganizations, and the representation of creditors' committees, creditors, Chapter 11 trustees, post-confirmation trusts and trustees, and purchasers of assets out of bankruptcies.

Greg Noschese is a Shareholder in the Firm's Litigation/Dispute Resolution practice group. His emphasis is on commercial litigation where he handles a broad range of issues including fiduciary duty claims, landlord/tenant litigation, consumer protection issues, Deceptive Trade Practices Act, construction litigation, bankruptcy litigation, real estate litigation, including claims brought under the Texas Residential Construction Liability Act as well as account and post-judgment collection.

Ross Parker joined Munsch Hardt’s Litigation/Dispute Resolution practice group as an associate in September 1998. His general area of practice is complex commercial litigation. In that capacity he has been responsible for handling a broad range of disputes focusing on securities litigation, director and officer litigation, and general complex commercial litigation. Ross has significant experience in bankruptcy-related litigation representing litigation trustees and creditors’ committees.

Dennis Roossien is a shareholder in the Firm’s Litigation section. He is experienced in handling federal and state court litigation, both at the trial court and appellate level. His practice areas have included securities, telecommunications, insurance, construction, bankruptcy, receiverships, products liability, and commercial matters
