Each year, the Super Lawyers list recognizes no more than five percent of attorney’s from each state. Furthermore, only 2.5 percent of all lawyers per state are named on the Rising Stars list. Attorneys are nominated by peers within their practicing state and are selected based on a patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates and peer reviews by practice area.
