Introducing Munsch Hardt's Newest Shareholders

Munsch Hardt is pleased to announce the promotion of two Houston-based attorneys, John Cornwell and Sameer Karim, to shareholder, effective May 1, 2017.

We are very excited to name them as our two newest shareholders.”

John Cornwell, who joined Munch Hardt in 2016 as a Senior Attorney, is a member of the firm’s Bankruptcy, Restructuring & Insolvency practice group. With more than 10 years of experience, his work includes representing secured and unsecured creditors, chapter 11 debtors, trustees, governmental entities, third-party purchasers/investors, and a variety of other stakeholders in bankruptcies across industries such as oil and natural gas exploration, oilfield services, telecommunications, pharmaceutical compounding, timber harvesting, and intellectual property and technology creation and dissemination. He is recognized by Thomson and Reuters as a Texas Rising Star (2010-2017).  

Sameer Karim, who joined Munsch Hardt as an Associate in 2011, is a member of the firm’s Litigation and Labor & Employment practice groups. His practice focuses on representing clients in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies in disputes involving employment laws and regulations. Recently Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, he is knowledgeable about the Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Texas Payday Act, and the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act (WARN). Karim is a member of the firm’s Diversity Committee, and he is recognized by Thomson and Reuters as a Texas Rising Star (2014-2017).
