Munsch Hardt, a Texas-based, mid-sized commercial law firm, announced the promotion of Devon D. Sharp from Associate to Shareholder, effective March 1. Sharp, who joined Munsch Hardt after graduating from Baylor Law School in 2007, works in the firm’s Dallas office and is an active member of the Business Litigation Section and the Labor & Employment practice group.

Sharp dedicates her practice to representing companies and individuals in a broad range of business disputes, with a strong emphasis in employment law. She handles employment disputes of all types and provides sophisticated counsel to employers and executives on non-compete agreements, protection of confidential information and trade secrets, development of employee handbooks and policies, and general compliance with state and federal employment laws and regulations. Her experience also extends to general contract litigation, insurance coverage law and franchise law. Clients regularly lean on Sharp for sensible advice to avoid litigation, but, when necessary, they also rely on her aggressive approach and extensive experience before state and federal courts and a myriad of governmental agencies.
In addition to her involvement in the Dallas legal community, Sharp is an active member of Attorneys Serving the Community, the Dallas Summer Musicals Associate Producers, and DallasHR. She also previously served as an elected Associate Liaison to Munsch Hardt’s Management Committee.
