Munsch Hardt Grows Houston Real Estate Group With Addition of Shareholder

Munsch Hardt, a law firm with over 100 attorneys and offices in Dallas, Houston and Austin, Texas, announced that Mark S. Biskamp has joined the Houston office as a Shareholder in the Real Estate group.

Mark's practice concentrates on commercial transactions involving the real estate, financial services, energy and professional sports industries.

Mark is actively involved in all facets of acquisitions, sales, financing, development, leasing and management of real estate projects in cities across the United States including overseeing national real estate portfolio transactions; acquisitions and sales of office buildings, industrial properties, multifamily projects, retail centers, mixed-use developments and medical facilities; land assemblages and development; negotiation of ground leases, tenant leases, property management agreements and services agreements; negotiation of debt and equity financing; renegotiation of arrangements with lenders and equity investors; and corporate real estate transactions. Mark also assists banks and other financial services companies with nationwide real estate lending matters including construction, bridge and permanent financing; loan modifications; workouts and foreclosures.

Mark assists public and private companies with energy and infrastructure projects. He has advised clients with respect to investments involving water infrastructure, pipelines, oil and gas exploration and production assets, energy storage facilities and renewable energy projects.

Mark represents professional sports teams and other companies in the negotiation of agreements relating to the development and management of professional sports arenas and stadiums. He was formerly Vice President and General Counsel of the Houston Rockets.

Mark is a member of the Houston Bar Association, including the Real Estate Law and Oil, Gas and Mineral Law Sections; State Bar of Texas, including the Real Estate, Probate and Trust and Oil, Gas and Energy Resources Law Sections and Urban Land Institute. He received his Master of Education and Doctor of Philosophy from University of Virginia, Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, where he served as Notes and Comments Editor of the Journal of Air Law & Commerce, and Bachelor of Arts from The University of Texas at Austin, where he graduated with High Honors.
