Allison’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, private equity and general corporate law for a variety of industries, including tech, e-commerce, transportation and energy. She is attentive to business considerations when comprehensively analyzing legal risks and opportunities for her clients. A creative negotiator and contract-drafter, she counsels companies on matters including international transactions, private placement, equity financing, corporate formation and governance and data privacy and security.
Prior to joining Munsch Hardt, Allison litigated at a Dallas-based law firm, focusing on transportation law, commercial disputes and insurance defense. Her practical experience litigating contracts, deposing sophisticated witnesses and navigating the settlement and courtroom process provides her a unique skill set for corporate practice.
As a law student, Allison worked for U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, handling national security issues and suspected marriage fraud. She later worked for an immigration boutique firm drafting family-based and asylum petitions for visas, permanent residency and citizenship. She was appointed to the executive board of the Science and Technology Law Review and selected by her peers for membership in the Barristers Honorary Public Service Organization. She also externed for the Honorable Justice Elizabeth Lang-Miers of the Court of Appeals for the Fifth District of Texas at Dallas.
