Overview

Amando’s practice focuses on construction-related legal matters such as construction litigation and transactions. He represents owners, general contractors, subcontractors and design professionals in a variety of construction transactions and disputes.

Before joining Munsch Hardt, Amando was an associate attorney at a Texas-based boutique litigation firm in its Houston office where he focused on insurance defense and construction litigation. Amando also possesses knowledge and experience in drafting and filing patent and trademark applications, having previously practiced at an intellectual property boutique. Amando received his undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and his law degree from South Texas College of Law.

Prior to the practice of law, Amando was an engineer for North America’s largest provider of construction services in marine dredging and land reclamation. During this time, he gained unique skills he implements in his construction law practice. Amando’s clients benefit from his background in the engineering and construction industries.
