Overview

Amber focuses her practice primarily on employment-related disputes and claims. She regularly advises employers on day-to-day operations, and also handles the drafting and review of employment policies/handbooks and agreements, including non-compete, non-solicitation, separation and settlement agreements.

Amber has extensive experience representing clients in Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) collective actions, with a particular focus on the misclassification of employees and the failure to pay overtime. She also represents clients in various employment discrimination and retaliation/whistleblower lawsuits under federal and state laws, such as Title VII, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Texas Commission on Human Rights Act (TCHRA) and Sarbanes-Oxley.

Prior to joining Munsch Hardt, Amber worked for an employment litigation firm based in The Woodlands, Texas, and from 2003-2014, Amber served in the Judge Advocate General (JAG) Corps of the United States Air Force.
