Brenna’s practice focuses on general commercial and employment law arbitrations and litigation in state and federal court. She also regularly represents employers in responding to government agency investigations. A substantial portion of her practice consists of giving employers day-to-day operations advice and drafting employment contracts, handbooks and other policies. Brenna regularly takes depositions, argues motions in state and federal court, and has successfully defended clients in four jury trials, including actions brought under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and Title VII and the Texas Commission on Human Rights Act (TCHRA).
Since beginning her legal career, Brenna has published numerous employment law related articles, and has traveled the state speaking to employer groups. Brenna is a member of the University of Houston Law Center Young Alumni Committee and the University of Houston Law Center Upper Level Mentor program.
Prior to joining Munsch Hardt, Brenna worked in both the Labor & Employment Litigation and Commercial Litigation Practice Groups at an international law firm.
