Fareed’s practice is focused on representing all types of entities in bankruptcy and other financially distressed transactions and proceedings. This includes Chapter 11 reorganizations, Chapter 7 liquidations, commercial litigation, debt restructurings, distressed asset sales, and foreclosure actions. His practice also involves counseling clients on legal and financial issues when structuring corporate and commercial transactions. Additionally, Fareed assists both lenders and borrowers in executing commercial loan workouts.
After Fareed completed his JD/MBA, he clerked for the Honorable Paul Bonapfel and the Honorable Wendy Hagenau of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Georgia. Before joining Munsch Hardt, Fareed was a Business Restructuring, Creditors’ Rights & Bankruptcy Associate in the Atlanta office of a national law firm. Prior to entering the practice of law, Fareed served as a math teacher with Teach For America.
