Overview

Gary is an immigration attorney with more than 20 years of experience working on employment-based and family-based immigration matters, I-9 compliance and government audits, as well as Naturalization/U.S. Citizenship cases. He provides innovative immigration solutions to companies and their employees in the oil and gas, engineering, healthcare, biomedical research, media, information technology, telecommunications, education, industrial services and manufacturing industries.

Prior to joining Munsch Hardt, Gary served as the Principal of Ilagan & Associates for eight years. He also worked for one of the top boutique immigration firms in the country for six years. He is the first Houston-based immigration attorney for Munsch Hardt, and he serves on the Firm’s Diversity Committee.

Gary currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Asian-American Bar Association of Houston, and he is also the President of the Philippine-American Chamber of Commerce Texas. He speaks frequently on immigration issues at continuing legal education, as well as community and business-related seminars.

An AV-Preeminent-rated attorney by his peers, Gary is also Board Certified in Immigration and Nationality Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
