Overview

Grant's practice areas focus on in-and-out of court corporate restructuring/insolvency matters and health care law. Grant represents Chapter 11 and 15 debtors, trustees, official and ad hoc committees, and secured and unsecured creditors in complex proceedings as well as cross-border insolvency matters, including drafting and negotiating credit agreements, bridge loans, security agreements, backstop agreements, SaaS agreements, warrant agreements, DIP financing agreements, and other pertinent financial and corporate documents.

Grant's health care practice focuses on representing clients in a variety of corporate and regulatory matters such as their operational, governance, formation and restructuring issues, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, employment matters, compliance, SaaS agreements, federal Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, False Claims Act, Medicare and Medicaid regulations, HIPAA and reimbursement controversies.

Before joining Munsch Hardt as an Associate, Grant served as a Summer Associate in Munsch Hardt’s Houston office. He formerly served as Judicial Intern for The Honorable Justice Keyes in the First Court of Appeals, as well as Senior Legal Intern for the Museum of Fine Arts Houston.

Prior to the practice of law, Grant was a well-respected entrepreneur and professional musician/educator. Grant founded and operated a successful sewing manufacturing company Beiner Bags LLC, and a spin-off company Sew-Elegant Designs. Throughout his tenure with these companies, Grant helped grow the businesses into internationally recognized brands in the respective industries of case manufacturing and high-end fashion, costuming, and couture dress manufacturing and design. As a professional musician, Grant has had the privilege of performing with, among others, the Houston Symphony, Pharrell Williams, and Michael Feinstein.
