Julie’s practice focuses on commercial litigation with an emphasis on the energy and oil & gas industries.

Julie attended South Texas College of Law Houston where she served as Assistant Articles Editor for the South Texas Law Review. She also was a Student Executive Editor for the South Texas Construction Law Journal and an Articles/Note Editor for the Harry L. Reed Institute of Oil & Gas Energy Newsletter. While in law school, Julie also served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Judge Hittner in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas.

Before pursuing her legal career, Julie was a high school teacher in Houston for nearly nine years.
