Overview

Melissa serves as a strategic and legal adviser to developers, owners and investors involved in a variety of commercial real estate transactions. She has extensive experience handling the acquisition and disposition of office buildings, retail centers, mixed-use projects, hotels and industrial facilities located throughout the country.

Melissa also manages multifaceted development projects representing regional and national real estate development companies, retailers and investment firms. Her experience includes handling the development of a multiphase shopping center consisting of 850,000 square feet.

Melissa negotiates and drafts lease agreements for institutional owners as well as tenants in a wide variety of businesses and industries. She has handled numerous lease transactions involving millions of square feet of retail, office, medical and industrial properties. 

Additionally, Melissa manages sophisticated commercial financing transactions, including construction and permanent real estate loans and asset-based loans, on behalf of life insurance companies, national and regional banks and other financial institutions.  

Melissa is responsive, anticipates issues and provides practical advice to meet her client's needs. As a Certified Real Property Law Specialist, Melissa is recognized as an expert in handling complex commercial real estate transactions and having high ethical standards.
