Devon Sharp is a trusted counselor and litigator with a proven track record of advising and defending companies of all sizes and types. Devon’s practice focuses on employment law and business litigation.
On the employment law side, Devon advises and advocates for employers at all stages of the employment relationship. She defends employers in litigation and arbitration matters and in administrative proceedings before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC), the Department of Labor (DOL), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and other state and federal agencies. She reviews and updates employer policies and procedures, conducts customized management and employee training programs, prepares employment and separation agreements and provides advice and counsel on personnel matters and litigation avoidance. She also regularly counsels employers and executives on non-compete agreements and the protection of confidential information and trade secrets.
On the business litigation side, Devon represents companies in a wide range of commercial disputes in both state and federal court and in arbitration, with the goal of achieving the most favorable resolution possible for her clients and enabling them to focus on their core business. Devon’s litigation experience covers a wide array of industries, including telecommunications, manufacturing, real estate and transportation.
Devon serves as Co-Chair of the Firm’s Women’s Initiative Group, and as an active member of Attorneys Serving the Community (ASC), a volunteer organization made up of female lawyers, judges and law students from across the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas area. ASC’s mission is to support local nonprofit organizations whose programs benefit women, children and families.
