Julie is a seasoned litigator and trial attorney with second-chair trial experience, specializing in resolving complex, high-stakes disputes. She represents both plaintiffs and defendants, ranging from individuals and start-ups to Fortune 50 companies at all stages of litigation, including in pre-litigation risk mitigation, proceedings seeking and defending against emergency injunctive relief, complex motion practice, trials and appeals. Julie’s experience includes matters arising from breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, trade secret misappropriation, fraud, violation of securities laws, trademark infringement, patent infringement, unfair competition, real property disputes, M&A disputes, business divorces, director/officer litigation and employment disputes.

Julie has represented clients in federal and state courts and arbitrations across the country, including all Texas United States District Courts, the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, the Southern District of California, Eastern District of Michigan, District of Minnesota, United States Bankruptcy Courts for the Southern District of Texas and District of Delaware, USPTO, FINRA, the Texas Supreme Court, and state courts across Texas and in California, Arizona, New Mexico, and the Delaware Chancery Court.

She has been recognized to the Thomson Reuters “Texas Rising Stars” list since 2023 and Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch, Commercial Litigation (2025).

  • Securities + Governmental Investigation

    Obtained the dismissal of a registered representative in a lawsuit brought by an institutional customer seeking $41 MM in damages.

  • Securities + Governmental Investigation

    Represented a member firm and an associated person in a complex regulatory inquiries instituted by FINRA and Blue Sky regulators.

  • Real Estate Litigation

    Represented a real estate investment fund in a suit brought on by an institutional investor seeking to prohibit the sale of a $30 MM investment property. Defeated and obtained dismissal of TRO.
