Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr, P.C. (Munsch Hardt) represented clients RooInvestment Fund II, LLC, Brent Brunnemer and Mitchell Allen Greg, M.D. in a lawsuit that arose from investments made in a limited partnership founded and managed by the Defendant. The Defendant solicited investments from the Firm’s clients by means of untrue statements and failed to disclose material information in connection to the solicitation of funds. The Munsch Hardt team obtained a final judgment in our client’s favor for over $8 million after a motion for summary judgment for violations of the Texas Securities Act and breach of fiduciary duty. The Defendant filed a motion for a new trial and the motion for a new trial was denied. The Defendant appealed to the Dallas Court of Appeals on February 7, 2024, and the Court of Appeals affirmed the judgment of the trial court. Congratulations to Litigation Attorneys Jamil Alibhai and Toni Anderson on this win for our clients!
