Munsch Hardt Welcomes 2025 First-Year Associates in Austin and Dallas

(TEXAS) – Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr, P.C. (Munsch Hardt) proudly announces its 2025 first-year associate class, a group of talented attorneys who will contribute fresh perspectives to the Firm’s growing practices. Marisol Sobek joined the Firm’s Austin office, and Grayson Padgett and Elizabeth Sherwood joined the Firm’s Dallas office. All three officially started on September 2, 2025.

Grayson Padgett: Real Estate – Dallas

Padgett is a member of Munsch Hardt’s Real Estate practice. Padgett earned his Juris Doctor from SMU Dedman School of Law. During law school, Padgett served as the Corporate Law Association Vice President, a student member of the Dallas Bar Association, and earned the Dean’s Scholarship. Padgett previously worked as a Summer Associate at Munsch Hardt and as a legal intern for AZZ Inc. Padgett earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston, where he graduated with honors. During college, Padgett was a member of the University of Houston baseball team and was a four-year letter winner.

Elizabeth (Ellie) Sherwood: Real Estate – Dallas

Sherwood is a member of the Firm’s Real Estate practice. She received her Juris Doctor from SMU Dedman School of Law, cum laude. While in law school, she served as Notes Editor of the SMU Science and Technology Law Review Association, competed on SMU’s international commercial arbitration team, and received the Dean’s Scholarship. Sherwood previously worked as a Summer Associate at Munsch Hardt and as a legal extern for Coca-Cola Southwest. She earned her bachelor’s degree at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she was named to the Dean’s Honors List.

Marisol Sobek: Litigation – Austin

Sobek is a member of the Firm’s Litigation practice. She received her Juris Doctor from The University of Texas School of Law. During law school, she served as staff editor and on the esteemed Editorial Board of the Texas Hispanic Journal of Law and Policy, as well as staff editor of the Texas Environmental Law Journal. Sobek was also a member of the Chicano/Hispanic/Latino Law Students Association, Women’s Law Caucus, and OUTLaw. While in law school, she received the Baron & Budd Public Interest Summer Fellowship. She previously worked as a Summer Associate at Munsch Hardt and was a law clerk for Disability Rights Texas and for the Equal Rights Advocates. Sobek earned her bachelor’s degree at The University of Chicago, where she was named a University Merit Scholar and to the Dean’s List for multiple years.
