Overview

Earl’s practice focuses on commercial litigation in state and federal court, with an emphasis on the oil and gas and construction industries. He represents a wide range of clients from a variety of backgrounds, ranging from individuals and small businesses to national and publicly-traded companies.

Before joining Munsch Hardt as an Associate in April 2018, Earl served as a Summer Associate in Munsch Hardt’s Houston office, and he formerly served as a Judicial Intern for United States District Judge David Hittner, in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. Earl graduated second in his class at South Texas College of Law Houston and received the CALI Award for the highest grade in ten classes throughout law school.

Prior to the practice of law, Earl spent more than six years working as an Independent Petroleum Landman at locations across Texas and in West Virginia. During his time as a landman, he prepared title abstracts in anticipation of drilling operations, negotiated oil and gas leases with lessors, negotiated right of way agreements with landowners and managed and performed curative work in preparation for drilling operations.

Earl and his wife have three children – two daughters, Madison and Rosemary, and one son, Earl L. Ingle, Jr.

Experience

  • Employment Litigation

    Assisted in successfully representing an employer defend claims of breach of contract and wrongful termination brought by a terminated employee.

  • Negligence + Personal Injury

    Assisted in defending an individual who was accused of causing a three-vehicle accident and succeeded in obtaining summary judgment in the individual’s favor.

  • Owner Representation

    Represented several mineral interest owners and succeeded in negotiating favorable terms in an oil and gas lease.
