Overview

Josh currently serves as the head of the Real Estate Finance Practice Group and as a member of the Firm’s Compensation Committee. Josh’s practice predominantly focuses on finance and real estate transactions all over the nation. His practice ranges from the representation of regional banks, private commercial lenders and developers and institutional investors in financing transactions and restructurings, structured finance transactions and loan assignments, acquisitions, dispositions and development. Within the past year, he has been the lead attorney representing lenders and borrower on over one billion dollars in loan originations.

Josh also has significant experience representing commercial lenders and borrowers in the restructuring of troubled credit facilities, loan modifications, deed in lieu of foreclosure transactions, deed in escrow transactions, Intercreditor Agreements and foreclosures of real estate for all types of real estate, including multifamily properties, hospitality properties, mixed-use developments and condominiums.

Prior to joining the firm in 2007, he developed and owned a fee attorney title company under Capital Title, Inc. and worked at another Dallas, Texas based law firm.
