(TEXAS) – Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr, P.C. (Munsch Hardt) is pleased to announce the appointment of Construction Shareholders Mason Hester (Houston) and Logan Adcock (Dallas) as Co-Chairs of the Firm’s Construction Practice. In their new roles, they will provide strategic leadership for the Construction Practice, while overseeing the development and recruitment of attorneys, as well as ensuring effective and responsive client service.
Mason Hester is the Immediate Past Chair of the Houston Bar Construction Law Section, previously served on the State Bar of Texas Construction Law Section Governing Council, and was among the inaugural class of lawyers to become Board Certified in Construction Law. Hester graduated with honors from the University of Texas School of Law, where his areas of focus included construction law. For nearly 20 years, the State Bar of Texas has invited Hester to publish numerous legal articles and deliver several speeches to other lawyers regarding various construction law issues. He has represented a wide range of industry stakeholders, including design professionals, owners, general contractors, subcontractors, sureties, and suppliers, in complex construction disputes and contract negotiations. His accolades include recognition as a Top Lawyer by Houstonia Magazine (2021–2023), Texas Super Lawyer (2019–2024), and Rising Star (2014–2017) by Thomson Reuters, and inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America by Woodward/White Inc. (2019–2025).
Logan Adcock is an experienced construction litigator who advises owners, general contractors, and subcontractors across a wide range of commercial construction matters. His practice spans all facets of construction law, including dispute resolution and project counseling. Adcock is active in the Dallas Bar Association, where he has served on the Construction Law Section Council for the past two years, as well as TEXO Association, and is a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation. He graduated cum laude from Baylor University School of Law, where he was named to the Order of the Barristers and was awarded a Dean’s Academic Excellence Scholarship. He has been recognized as a Texas Rising Star by Thomson Reuters (2021–2024) and included in The Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America by Woodward/White Inc. for Construction Law and Litigation (2024–2025), underscoring his growing prominence in the field.
With Hester and Adcock at the helm, Munsch Hardt’s Construction Practice will continue to deliver full-service, high-caliber counsel at every stage of the construction process – including first-rate contract documents and elite dispute resolution services for all construction claims. The team advises public and private owners, developers, lenders, design professionals, general contractors, subcontractors, sureties, and suppliers on some of the most complex and high-profile construction projects nationwide.
“This new leadership appointment is part of the Firm’s continued commitment to identifying and nurturing talent that will ensure Munsch Hardt’s future success and help us meet the evolving needs of our clients,” said Dave Coligado, CEO of Munsch Hardt. “As the industry continues to evolve, from legislative shifts to the surge in Texas development, Mason and Logan’s forward-thinking, team-oriented approach, and unmatched qualifications and experience, position the team well to support the practice’s long tradition of legal excellence.”
Much like the Firm’s strategic plan, Hester and Adcock plan to grow the practice organically, recruiting Texas-based construction attorneys whose practices align with Munsch Hardt’s full-service, middle-market platform. Most recently, Munsch Hardt’s Construction practice welcomed Brad Smith as a Shareholder in Dallas and welcomed back Connor Rose to its Houston office.
