(DALLAS) Texas-based law firm Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr, P.C. (“Munsch Hardt”) recently appointed Litigation Shareholder Nolan C. Knight and Real Estate Shareholder Michael A. Krywucki as co-chairs to the Firm’s Diversity Committee. In this role, Knight and Krywucki will drive the direction of the Firm’s diversity and inclusion initiatives.
“Modern society cannot survive and thrive without embracing and promoting a culture of diversity,” stated Mr. Krywucki. “I am excited about the opportunity to work with Nolan and the Diversity Committee to ensure Munsch Hardt has diversity across all variables among its leadership, lawyers and staff.”
With an understanding that there is a linear relationship between gender, racial and ethnic diversity and stronger business performance, Munsch Hardt’s Diversity Committee is tasked with focusing on internal and external initiatives, addressing client concerns and the staffing of client matters, as well as improving the recruitment and retention of diverse team members. We invite you to learn more about Munch Hardt’s Diversity Committee here.
In this spirit, for Mr. Knight: “Diversity and inclusion is not an abstract goal or worthy of pursuit just for the sake. Any organization, or broader culture, that does not acknowledge, attract, and cultivate talent, whatever the demographic, is artificially limiting its own potential.”
While the Diversity Committee looks to make improvements internally, Munsch Hardt and its attorneys will continue to support diversity in the legal profession and within its surrounding communities. The Firm regularly sponsors or participates in a number of diversity-related programs, including The Texas Minority Counsel Dallas Mayor’s Intern Fellow Fund, J.L. Turner Legal Association, Greater Houston LGBT Chamber of Commerce and the Travis County Women Lawyers Association, as well as diverse bar associations and legal groups, business organizations and other affiliations that represent specific constituencies and support diversity evolution within our profession.
In addition to the Firm’s Diversity Committee, Munsch Hardt also maintains an active Women’s Initiative Group, which is led by Litigation Shareholder, Devon Sharp. Please click here to learn more about this Group’s goals and objectives.
