Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr, P.C. (Munsch Hardt) Litigation Shareholders Jamil Alibhai and Dr. Chad Ray have once again been recognized among the nation’s leading litigators, earning spots in the 2027 Lawdragon 500 Leading Litigators in America guide. Alibhai was recognized for Commercial & IP Litigation, Plaintiff, while Ray was recognized for IP Litigation.
In announcing this year’s honorees, Lawdragon described the lawyers selected as “stars” of the U.S. trial bar, recognized for excelling in advocacy before juries, judges and other decision-makers.
This marks Alibhai’s sixth year of recognition by Lawdragon. A Chambers-ranked litigator with more than 30 years of experience, Alibhai represents clients in complex commercial, intellectual property, insolvency and energy disputes in trial and appellate courts throughout Texas and across the country. He also serves as leader of Munsch Hardt’s Intellectual Property practice. His work includes serving as lead counsel for the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) in high-stakes litigation arising from Winter Storm Uri.
Ray earns the distinction for the fifth year. He focuses his practice on intellectual property matters involving patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets across the energy, health care, manufacturing and technology and telecommunications industries. Ray holds a Ph.D. in chemistry from Duke University, a scientific background he draws on when handling complex technology and intellectual property disputes.
