As a transactional attorney, Jack specializes in mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions and tax law. Jack regularly advises clients on corporate formation and LLC structuring, business and commercial contracts as well as employment and leasing agreements. From a tax perspective, Jack helps clients navigate the continually evolving state and federal tax laws, providing tax-efficient alternatives to various business and personal situations.
Jack also represents private and non-profit developers and investors in complex real estate and development transactions involving public-private partnerships, tax credit finance (including New Markets Tax Credits and federal and state historic tax credits), state and local incentives, traditional equity and debt financing. Jack additionally advises clients in connection with private placement memorandums and formation of partnerships, limited liability companies and other operating and joint venture agreements.
