Overview

Grant is an experienced construction attorney and professional whose legal practice concentrates on complex commercial transactions and litigation matters. He possesses a rare combination of deep legal acumen and hands-on project management experience, making him a trusted counselor to his clients and giving him an exceptionally strategic perspective from which to navigate the myriad of legal issues that his clients may face on any project, including contract disputes, lien and bond claims, and complex claims.

Grant’s hands-on construction experience, spanning more than two decades, includes time as in-house managing counsel, private counsel, and various roles in construction and business operations. He is among a small group of attorneys in Texas who have personally managed commercial construction projects as a Project Manager and Project Executive. His deep industry knowledge allows him to counsel his clients effectively and provide valuable insights from a legal perspective.

Prior to joining Munsch Hardt, Grant was a partner at a Texas-based construction law firm where he drafted and negotiated complex commercial development and construction agreements and counseled property developers, general contractors, and trade contractors. Grant also previously managed the legal department for a large Texas-based construction management firm.
