Ian’s practice emphasis includes representing office, industrial, medical, and retail clients in connection with a wide variety of leasing and development matters, as well as ground leases and master lease agreements.
His representation of landlords includes multiple institutional property owners, and he represents landlords in numerous lease transactions involving more than 150,000 square feet of space. Ian also represents a broad spectrum of office, industrial, medical, and retail tenants in connection with their leasing requirements.
In addition to his leasing practice, Ian represents clients in connection with the acquisition, development and sale of various asset types with a primary focus on multi-family apartment projects and medical facilities. This representation includes negotiation of contract and loan documents, negotiation of management, construction, architect, civil engineering, structural engineering agreements, and negotiation of other ancillary documentation.
Ian’s developer representation also includes negotiating collateral documentation associated with retail transactions and large residential lot developments, consisting of reciprocal easement agreements, cross parking easements, joint development agreements, utility agreements and construction agreements.
Whether leasing large industrial portfolios for institutional owners, or developing multifamily projects, Ian enjoys finding creative solutions to meet his clients’ real estate goals.
