Overview

Matthew’s practice focuses on commercial real estate transactions, representing owners, developers, investors, and lenders in the acquisition, disposition, financing, and management of commercial real estate assets. He advises clients throughout all stages of a transaction, including due diligence, structuring, negotiation, closing, and post-closing matters. His experience includes office, retail, multifamily, mixed-use, and medical office properties, as well as joint ventures, private equity investments, and complex financing transactions.

Before joining Munsch Hardt, Matthew practiced at a boutique commercial real estate law firm. He also gained valuable in-house investment and asset management experience with Lionstone Investments, where he managed and analyzed a diverse real estate portfolio valued at more than $900 MM. This combination of legal and business experience allows him to provide practical, business-minded counsel that helps clients efficiently navigate sophisticated real estate transactions.

Outside of his practice, Matthew enjoys volunteering with Habitat for Humanity’s Global Village program and has participated in homebuilding projects in communities around the world.
