Munsch Hardt Formalizes Sports + Entertainment Practice with Addition of Shareholder Sunil Jamal

(HOUSTON) – Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr, P.C. is proud to announce Sunil Jamal will join the Firm on Monday, June 23rd as a Corporate Shareholder in the Firm’s Houston office, where he will lead the newly established Sports + Entertainment Practice. Jamal will also maintain an active Corporate and M&A practice, representing investors seeking strategic acquisitions, as well as companies in the energy, restaurant, and hospitality industries.

Before joining Munsch Hardt, Jamal served as Associate General Counsel of the Houston Texans, where he provided legal counsel across nearly every facet of the organization, including corporate governance, commercial transactions, sponsorships, intellectual property, healthcare, and regulatory compliance. Jamal began his legal career at Baker Botts as a corporate attorney, focusing on M&A, securities law compliance, and complex deal structures for both public and private companies. This combined in-house sports and law firm experience has given Jamal a unique perspective on the business of sports and entertainment. Jamal received both his Juris Doctor and Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
