Munsch Hardt Announces 2026 Attorney Promotions

(DALLAS) – Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr, P.C. (Munsch Hardt) is proud to announce the recent promotions of ten attorneys, naming four to Equity Shareholder and six to Shareholder. Effective April 1, 2026, the promotions include attorneys in a broad range of practices across the Firm, including bankruptcy/restructuring, construction, corporate, energy, general litigation, insurance, real estate, and securities litigation.

The Firm’s Newest Equity Shareholders:

  • Logan Adcock (Dallas) is a member of the Firm’s Litigation practice and serves as the Co-Chair of the Construction practice group. He focuses on all facets of construction law, including both transactional and litigation matters. He represents owners, general contractors, and subcontractors in a wide range of commercial construction matters, including drafting and negotiating contracts, handling constitutional and statutory lien issues, and resolving disputes through negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and litigation. Before joining Munsch Hardt, Adcock served as in-house counsel for one of the largest general contractors in the United States. He currently serves as the Information Officer of the Dallas Bar Association’s Construction Law Section for 2026 and previously served as Section Council from 2023-2025. Adcock has been recognized in Thomson Reuters’ Texas Rising Stars (2021–2025) and Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch (2024-2026) for multiple categories.
     
  • Stephen Huschka (Dallas) is a member of the Firm’s Litigation practice and leads the Firm’s Securities Litigation and Governmental Investigations practice group. He focuses on representing investors, companies, financial institutions, investment firms, broker-dealers, registered investment advisers, asset managers, and corporate officers in complex litigation and regulatory investigations. Huschka’s practice also extends to high-value commercial, real estate, non-compete, business divorce and intellectual property disputes, particularly those involving sophisticated financial or technical issues. He is active in public service, serving as a Commissioner on the City of Dallas Commission on Disabilities and previously chairing the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers Foundation. Huschka currently serves as president of the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers for 2026, and has held several leadership positions within the organization over the years. He has been recognized in Thomson Reuters’ Texas Rising Stars (2019–2025); Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch (2023–2026) for multiple categories, D Magazine’s Best Lawyers Under 40 (2023–2026), and Dallas Association of Young Lawyers’ “One to Watch” (2018).
     
  • Garrick Smith (Dallas) is a member of the Firm’s Bankruptcy, Restructuring & Insolvency practice, where he focuses on complex corporate restructuring, bankruptcy matters, financial transactions, and related litigation. He represents debtors, creditors, committees, trustees, lenders, and investors in out-of-court workouts, bankruptcy proceedings, distressed asset acquisitions, and insolvency litigation. Smith has experience across a broad range of industries, including energy, financial services, hospitality, manufacturing, real estate, retail, health care, and technology. Prior to joining Munsch Hardt, he practiced in the restructuring and reorganization group of an international law firm. He has been recognized in Thomson Reuters’ Texas Rising Stars (2023) and Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch for Litigation–Bankruptcy (2021–2025) and Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights/Insolvency and Reorganization Law (2021–2023).
  • Clifton Squibb (Dallas) is a member of the Firm’s Corporate and Energy practices, focusing on energy transactions. He represents energy companies and investors in middle-market transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, and the negotiation of operational and project-level agreements. He also advises clients on oil and gas property and title matters, as well as emerging energy opportunities such as gas marketing and power supply agreements, geothermal development, lithium exploration, and renewables projects. Squibb is Board Certified in Oil, Gas, and Mineral Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Prior to joining Munsch Hardt, he was a founding partner of a Dallas-based oil and gas law firm and served as an adjunct professor at Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. He has been recognized in Thomson Reuters’ Texas Super Lawyers (2021–2023), Thomson Reuters’ Texas Rising Stars (2012–2018), and D Magazine’s Best Lawyers in Dallas (2017, 2019–2022, 2024).

  • Joseph Caldwell (Dallas) is a member of the Firm's Real Estate practice, where he serves as lead counsel on complex commercial real estate transactions across regional and national markets. He represents institutional and corporate clients in the acquisition, disposition, development, and financing of office, retail, industrial, and other commercial assets, and advises both landlords and tenants in the negotiation of commercial leases. A graduate of the University of Alabama School of Law, Caldwell is active in The Real Estate Council and NAIOP.
  • Julie Christensen (Dallas) is a member of the Firm’s Litigation practice and is an experienced trial attorney focusing on complex, high-stakes disputes. She represents plaintiffs and defendants ranging from individuals and startups to Fortune 50 companies at all stages of litigation, including pre-litigation strategy, injunctive proceedings, motion practice, trial, and appeal. Her experience includes matters involving breach of contract, fiduciary duty, trade secrets, fraud, securities violations, intellectual property, real estate disputes, M&A disputes, and employment claims. Christensen represents clients in federal and state courts nationwide. She has been recognized in Thomson Reuters’ Texas Rising Stars since 2023, Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch for multiple categories (2025–2026), and D Magazine’s Best Lawyers Under 40 (2025).
     
  • Andres Contreras (Houston) is a member of the Firm’s Litigation and Insurance practices, focusing on complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts. His primary goal is to help clients avoid litigation exposure when possible and tackle legal disputes when necessary. Contreras handles a variety of complex commercial litigation matters such as insurance coverage and business disputes but also has experience with matters involving personal injury and products liability. Prior to joining Munsch Hardt, Contreras honed his skills at a boutique litigation firm. He is a graduate of The University of Texas School of Law and the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), giving him credentials to practice law in the United States and Mexico. During his time in Mexico, he gained international experience working with a global law firm and served as an intern in Mexico's Congress. Contreras has been recognized in Thomson Reuters’ Texas Rising Stars (2024–2025) and Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch for Personal Injury Litigation–Defendants (2025–2026) and Product Liability Litigation–Defendants (2024–2026).
     
  • Austin Moorman (Dallas) is a member of the Firm’s Litigation and Construction practices, focusing on construction law. His practice includes both litigation and transactional work involving residential and commercial construction matters, including lien and bond claims, construction defects, trust fund claims, and breach of contract disputes. He also drafts and negotiates contracts for owners, contractors, and subcontractors. Moorman contributed to the Texas Construction Law Manual and previously served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Terry Means of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas. He graduated cum laude from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, where he served as Associate Managing Editor for the International Law Review. He has been recognized in Thomson Reuters’ Texas Rising Stars (2023–2025) and Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch (2025–2026) for multiple categories.
     
  • Toni Swanger (Dallas) is a member of the Firm’s Litigation practice, focusing on all facets of complex commercial and business disputes for all stages of litigation. Her experience includes representing clients in disputes involving breach of contract, intellectual property, fraud, fiduciary duty, securities violations, real estate disputes, and bankruptcy litigation. She represents companies and individuals in federal and state courts and in arbitration. Prior to joining Munsch Hardt, Swanger practiced in the general liability and catastrophic injury groups at a national law firm. She is actively involved in firm leadership, serving as co-chair of the Dallas Recruitment Committee and the Summer Associate Program. She has been recognized in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch for Commercial Litigation (2024–2026) and Women in the Law (2024).
     
  • Hunter Taylor (Dallas) is a member of the Firm’s Real Estate practice, focusing on complex commercial real estate transactions. He represents clients in acquisitions, dispositions, development, and financing of assets and businesses across regional and national markets. Hunter advises on strategic planning and project development and serves as lead counsel on complex, multi-party acquisitions and project financings, with specific experience in corporate finance, structuring, and associated real estate matters. He is Board Certified in Commercial Real Estate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and has been recognized in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch for Real Estate Law (2026).
