Her experience spans a wide range of nonimmigrant visa categories—including H-1B, E, L, TN and O—as well as permanent residency processes, such as labor certifications and petitions for Extraordinary Ability, Outstanding Researchers, Multinational Executives and Managers and National Interest Waivers.

Beyond immigration sponsorship strategy, Rachel advises U.S. and multinational employers on I-9 employment verification compliance and responses to government audits. She counsels clients on best practices for non-discriminatory hiring and sponsorship policies and regularly defends companies in workplace enforcement actions.

Rachel also provides strategic guidance on I-9 and immigration-related considerations in corporate transactions. She frequently advises clients navigating mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate changes, helping to preserve compliance post-closing, proactively mitigate risk, and minimize the need for immigration-specific indemnities. She also has specialized experience securing U.S. Coast Guard letters of determination and vessel exemptions under the Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act’s U.S. manning requirements.
